Event information
Date & time
On October 18, 1942, the first transport of 50 prisoners arrived at the newly established Drütte subcamp. Accommodation rooms, an infirmary and administrative offices were built under an elevated road used for industrial purposes. Work was carried out in the nearby armaments production facility. Traces of the former concentration camp can still be found today.
Due to the special location of the Drütte Concentration Camp Memorial in a working industrial plant, the Drütte Concentration Camp Memorial can usually only be visited as part of a guided tour.
On the following dates - between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. - the exhibition is also open to visitors without prior registration. There is no guided tour. Dedicated members of the Arbeitskreis Stadtgeschichte e.V. will be on site and available to answer questions.
