Since its founding in 2018, the Berlin Philharmonic String Quartet has been delighting audiences with exciting, multifaceted programs, which it presents with masterful virtuosity, refined musical sensitivity, and great passion and dedication—entirely in the tradition of the Berlin Philharmonic.
This year’s concert in Salzgitter spans an impressive range: from the urgent restlessness and fragmentary expressiveness in Franz Schubert’s Quartet Movement, through the symphonic richness of Ludwig van Beethoven’s First “Razumovsky” Quartet, to the dense, deeply moving soundscape of Johannes Brahms’ First String Quartet.

Featuring Helena Madoka Berg (violin), Dorian Xhoxhi (violin), Takehiro Konoe (viola), and Christoph Heesch (cello).
