Poems and stories were and are part of the Advent and Christmas season. Humorous and satirical Christmas texts have also become a tradition. Since the beginning of the 20th century, writers have always dealt with the Advent and Christmas season in their own way in their texts: also comically, ironically, sarcastically, sometimes with a little subtle malice - and yet somehow in a melancholy atmosphere.

The Salzgitter Literary Society and the Literaturbüro of the city of Salzgitter take up this mood between Christmas family bliss and the breaking of the Christmas idyll, addressing Santa Claus, giving presents, going to church and other Christmas things with texts from different times. Recitation: Björn Försterling and Aneka Viering. There will also be plenty of music to match.
