Trained in jazz, pioneers (!) of German rock music, hardened by the rigors of the local music industry—they now combine skill, a burst of creativity, energy, playful wit, and the joy of performing in an exhilarating and sensational show.
Drumming legend Mani Neumeier on drums has been the constant throughout the years—and the list of his bandmates reads like an encyclopedia of German rock music—more than 30 album productions, countless side projects and collaborations, approximately 3,400 concerts, appearances in several films, performances on radio and television (including as the first German band to appear on WDR’s Rockpalast in 1976, with a revival in 2005), and a place in the Tokyo Wax Museum speak for themselves.
GURU-GURU today means: a wild mix of rock, funk, jazz, world music, electronic, and so on—you name it, you’ll get it! Add to that the show put on by the officially-crazy drummer Mani Neumeier—the shaman from the Odenwald!
