The historic surroundings and festive atmosphere invite you to take a look back in time. Exciting activities and the stage program also offer fun for the whole family.

A wide variety of food and drink stalls and children's activities can be found in the castle courtyard. Clubs from Salder will also be there again. Every purchase at a stand run by the VfL Salder sports club, the ProSal e.V. citizens' initiative or the Salder volunteer fire department supports their work, and it's definitely worth strolling through the varied arts and crafts market!

Other exciting events take place around the castle, such as sword fighting demonstrations, insights into medieval camp life and much more.

Things are a little quieter in the castle's mill garden. There you can relax with hot coffee and delicious cake or visit the windmill and the bakehouse.
