The courses are open to children between the ages of 9 and 12 who are looking for unforgettable adventures, want to have fun and learn a bit at the same time. The desire to be creative and enthusiasm for filmmaking are essential.
The maximum number of participants is 8 children.

Discovering the forest with digital microscopes
What does a leaf look like up close?
What patterns are hidden in tree bark?
And what can you find on the forest floor?
In our workshop, we’ll go on a discovery tour through the forest together using a digital microscope. The children will explore plants, moss, leaves, and insects, discovering exciting details that are barely visible to the naked eye. They’ll also learn how a microscope works in a fun, hands-on way—right here in the forest in Salzgitter-Lichtenberg.
Plus, the kids can look forward to an exciting forest bingo game: Who will be the first to spot a pinecone, a special leaf, or something green?
Together, we’ll experience the forest from a whole new perspective. The course is for children ages 6–9.

Programming and discovering with LEGO® WeDo 2.0
Equipped with LEGO bricks and a tablet , children ages 9 to 12 spend a day building small robots with Marcel—robots they can program to move and perform a wide variety of tasks. Through a wide selection of scenarios and projects, the children are introduced to topics such as robotics, programming, and the natural sciences.

Animated film workshop - LEGO® Edition
Using LEGO® figures, a tablet, and a green screen, children ages 9 to 12 film really cool stories set in Salzgitter. Whether it’s a dive in Salzgittersee, a day as an SRB employee, or a trip to the Schloss Salder Museum—there are no limits to their imagination.
The children not only learn how stop-motion works, but also how to use a green screen to make backgrounds transparent and insert any images or videos into their film.
The tips and tricks they learn can then be easily put into practice at home.

News Program – Television Like the Pros
Children ages 9 to 12 take on various roles—whether as hosts, camera operators, or directors. Together, they plan, film, and produce their own show, just like on real TV. The course not only offers plenty of fun but also provides insights into the world of media. Creativity, teamwork, and technical understanding are at the heart of the program.
