Ministry launches campaign for the public health service
The Public Health Service (ÖGD for short) is responsible for the health and health protection of the entire population. It consists of facilities at municipal level as well as facilities at state and federal level and thus forms an important pillar of the German healthcare system. The Lower Saxony Public Health Service includes the Ministry of Social Affairs, Labor, Health and Equality, the State Health Office and the municipal health authorities.
The Lower Saxony Ministry for Social Affairs, Labor, Health and Equality will launch an image campaign for the Public Health Service on Mental Health Day. One of the aims of the image campaign is to attract new recruits. The health department of the city of Salzgitter is supporting the campaign.
