The survey has been running since December 6, 2018. Since then, over 700 citizens have taken part in the campaign. The survey is part of a comprehensive participation process that involves the open-ended collection of ideas for the further development of Salzgittersee.

As part of the participation process, a lake walk will take place on February 24 from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., during which participants can contribute their ideas inspired by their impressions on site.
