The surface renovation work in the streets "An der Erzbahn" and "Breslauer Straße" as well as the "Bahnhofsplatz" Salzgitter-Bad is continuing as planned. The milling work has been completed and "An der Erzbahn" and a section of "Breslauer Straße" have already been provided with a new asphalt surface layer. The road markings could not yet be reapplied for technical reasons. All roads are currently open to traffic. Only the "Bahnhofsplatz" is affected by closures this week, where bus services will have to make do with one lane at a time until Saturday.

In order to carry out the asphalting work on "Bahnhofsplatz" and the section of "Breslauer Straße" from "Bahnhofsplatz" to behind the underpass, this area will be fully closed from 10.30 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, until 4.30 a.m. on Monday, August 5. This means that the "Bahnhofsplatz (ZOB)" stops will be relocated to the "Schützenplatz" stops, as they were last Sunday.

Users of the parking spaces and parking lots with exclusive access via "Breslauer Straße" and "Bahnhofsplatz" will not be able to drive to or leave the parking lot with their vehicles during the full closure.

The roads will be reopened to traffic from 4.30 a.m. on Monday, August 5.

The current signage must be observed. Increased attention is requested.

The administration asks those affected for their understanding for the restrictions and noise nuisance caused by the construction work.
