LEGO® Mindstorms is a building block system for pupils from grade 5 onwards, with which the basics of programming can be learned with the help of self-built robots.

The Medienzentrum of the city of Salzgitter and the Stadtbildstelle support schools by providing educational media and technical equipment for lessons. As part of a new concept, the range of teaching materials has been expanded. A class set of the LEGO® WeDo 2.0 construction kit system had already been purchased for elementary school pupils.

In addition to the rental service, the Medienzentrum also offers teachers the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the possible uses of the building sets in free workshops.
