This considerably simplifies the submission of documents, general consultations and the application process. This enables targeted consultations without long waiting times.

The "Online appointment allocation (opens in a new tab)" can be accessed via the City of Salzgitter website at www.salzgitter.de. The social services and senior citizens department must then be selected as the functional unit. At present, the areas of benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act, subsistence assistance, maintenance and basic security can be selected. Further services will be available soon.

After selecting the area, a maximum of two requests can be marked. The available appointments for the next few days are then listed. After entering the personal data and booking the appointment, a confirmation link is generated, which must then be activated.

If the appointment cannot be kept, the reservation can also be deleted via the e-mail received. Of course, it is still possible to make an appointment by telephone or in person.
