About the content: Do I look at things from above or from below, do I scan the surface or do I try to get behind the façade, do I look back or forward, with empathy or with critical detachment...?
Art is always searching for a new image of the world. In doing so, it adopts very different starting points and perspectives and, with its special means of expression, shows how diverse the world can be perceived.
Eleven artists from the salzgitter-gruppe and two guest artists will be presenting their diverse works in this year's annual exhibition entitled "Sichtweisen". The working methods vary between photographic precision and color-intensive abstraction. The focus is on landscapes, objects from everyday surroundings, searching for the visibility of memories, experimenting with chance or precise calculation, examining the human figure.
Represented in the exhibition are:
Gerd Druwe,
Michael Ewen,
Gunther Fritz,
Susanne Hesch,
Harald Illmann,
Peter Kuhl,
Heide Lühr-Hassels,
Wolfgang Spittler,
Hans-Jürgen Trams,
Ursula Trams and
Reinhard Wessolek and
the guests Uschi Korowski and Melanie Schöckel
All exhibitors have a biographical connection to Salzgitter. With their continuous artistic work and exhibition activities, they enrich the cultural life of the city of Salzgitter.
The selection of works can be seen on the upper floor of the Städtische Kunstsammlungen Schloss Salder, a total of 64 artistic works from the fields of painting and drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture and installation. The works are for sale.
