Special permit for the use of floodplains: Granting

Description

Description

In areas that are designated as floodplains, a special permit is required for the following measures:

  • the construction or extension of structures,
  • the erection of walls, embankments or similar structures across the direction of water flow in the event of flooding,
  • the spreading and depositing of substances hazardous to water on the ground, unless the substances may be used in the context of proper agriculture and forestry,
  • the non-temporary depositing of objects that could obstruct the flow of water or be washed away,
  • the raising or deepening of the ground surface,
  • the planting of trees and shrubs, insofar as these conflict with the objectives of preventive flood protection,
  • the conversion of grassland into arable land and
  • the conversion of alluvial forest to another type of use.
