Lehrstellenfuchs is an independent online apprenticeship exchange that mediates between entrepreneurs and trainees and thus responds constructively to the tense situation in Germany. Pupils have the opportunity to submit an application on the pupils' page, while companies can retrieve these applications to find suitable trainees. Companies can also present their training opportunities to make them accessible to pupils.
In the meantime, more than 2,500 mostly medium-sized companies and craft businesses throughout Germany are using this service and currently have access to 4,500 online applications from school leavers. Interested companies and students can register free of charge. Further information can be obtained from the Partnership for Apprenticeships by e-mailing p-f-lt-onlinede calling 05341 / 393901.
A movement started in Salzgitter in 1997: The Partnership for Apprenticeships e.V. initiative has been fighting for apprenticeships throughout Germany. What started small quickly became big. Since March 25, 1999, the association has been touring Germany with its apprenticeship truck to campaign for more apprenticeships. Workshops for school pupils are also held during the tour: The aim is to make them fit for training.
In the fall of 1997, Partnership for Apprenticeships launched a CD sampler on the market entitled "klasse 9a", in which well-known bands such as "Fury in the Slaughterhouse", the "Fantastischen Vier" and the "Toten Hosen" participated. The proceeds benefited the initiative and its work. In spring 1998, the activists founded the "Partnership for Apprenticeships" association. The initiative was transferred into fixed structures.
In the fall of 1998, Partnerschaft für Lehrstellen e.V. was awarded the Training Oscar in Gold by the Wirtschaftsjunioren Deutschlands (WJD). In December 1998, the FOCUS job initiative honored the initiative's commitment. The jury included prominent representatives from the business world, including the Chairman of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler, Jürgen Schrempp.
