The Literaturbüro
With a varied annual program, it aims to create additional spaces to engage with different literary genres and forms of presentation and to experience the written or spoken text in its diversity as a medium for entertainment, criticism, the preservation of memories and the release of creative energies, among other things.
In addition to readings, literary-musical events, lectures and meetings with authors, it also offers writing workshops for children, young people and adults. Depending on the content and target group, the individual projects take place either on a daily basis, in the form of block workshops, as individual events, continuation courses or vacation offers.
As part of public writing workshops or school clubs, children and young people are given the opportunity to try out a playful approach to language and literature. Here they can write their first stories under expert guidance and learn the basics of literary writing. The focus is not on imparting theoretical knowledge, but on curiosity and the joy of engaging with literature.
In all of this, the Literaturbüro also sees itself as a platform for entering into dialog with other people interested in literature, with authors and other people in the public literary scene. In addition to dealing with the classic formats of literature, the implementation of innovative literary concepts and the exchange with other artistic fields are important to it.
