Today, SRB Salzgitter presents itself as an economically successful service provider with a wide range of activities in the areas of:
Waste disposal, city cleaning, winter services, green spaces and cemeteries, playgrounds, road maintenance and central vehicle fleet management.
In addition to the collection, transportation and disposal of waste, many tasks such as waste recycling, individual customer advice, container provision, express service and various cleaning services are part of the standard repertoire. Waste management measures are planned, fees are calculated and statutory regulations are prepared.
The SRB also manages more than 450 hectares of green and wooded areas, 520 kilometers of roads, 216 playgrounds and football pitches, 80 hectares of water, allotment gardens and 17 cemeteries. Playgrounds and green spaces are planned and built.
The SRB Salzgitter's own workshop maintains and services the city's municipal fleet of up to 800 vehicles and equipment.
