From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., various players will be presenting their activities on the playground at Burgundenstraße 40: These include hands-on activities and games for the little ones, such as the barefoot path, goal wall, PanArena and the large bouncy castle. While the little ones run around, the adults can find out about the activities on offer or chat with other guests. A wide range of culinary delights will also be on offer.

The idea for this playground day was born last year: the urban development day held at the Roxy-Helco playground was so well received by the guests that the wish for a new edition on May 5 was realized. The Urban Redevelopment and Socially Integrative City Department, together with the city office of the East and West Settlement and the stakeholders involved (SOS Mütterzentrum, NOW Stadtteiltreff, In Ku-Team SZ, KunterBund Family Center, Christ König Family Center, the Protestant Youth Salzgitter-Bad, the Children and Family Representative of the City of Salzgitter and the Youth in the Community (JiG) team of the municipal children and youth development department) invite you to this playground day. The playground in the Ost- und Westsiedlung, which was inaugurated back in 2012, delights young and old alike. An open and attractive playground with multifunctional play equipment and additional play offers was created on around 2,400 square meters. The Roxy-Helco playground was financed by the Socially Integrative City urban development program and supplementary funding programs.
