Golf - a weekend to try it out: participants get to know this sport in a small group under professional guidance and do something for their own mental and physical fitness. If required, the golf course can be explored with an electric cart.
No previous experience is required. Clubs and balls are provided. Participants must bring sports shoes and rainwear if required. The course takes place in cooperation with the Salzgitter/Liebenburg Golf Club on Saturday, June 25 (2 to 4 p.m.) and Sunday, June 26 (2 to 4.45 p.m.) on the golf course at the Mahner Berg sports park. The taster course costs 25.20 euros.
Survival Overnight - self-awareness in nature: In this survival experience, participants will spend a night outdoors. The group meets in the early evening and sets up camp. Each participant is free to choose whether to spend the night in a self-built leaf hut, under a tarpaulin, in a hammock or in a tent. The sounds of nature are heard around the campfire. The morning starts with a "wilderness breakfast", a round of herbalism and a discussion about this unusual overnight stay.
The course takes place in cooperation with NABU Salzgitter from Friday, July 8 (5 p.m.) to Saturday (12 noon) on the grounds of the NABU Biological Station (Siegenbürgener Straße). The course costs 46 euros including materials. Participants should wear/bring weather-appropriate clothing and shoes.
Forest bathing - Shinrin Yoku: This new form of healing with the powers of nature has a positive effect on body and mind. Participants treat themselves and nature in a calm and mindful way, experiencing relaxation and detachment from everyday life. The immune system is strengthened and stress is reduced. Children accompanied by parents or grandparents are also invited to take part in this adventure.
The course takes place on Friday, July 8, from 3 to 6 p.m. in Salzgitter-Bad (meeting point is the parking lot on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße in front of the Holz-Kittler company).
Participants should wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather and bring a picnic. Participation is free of charge.
