• It applies to work with children in sports clubs.

People with certain criminal convictions are not allowed to work in these settings.

These convictions are not listed on the standard criminal record check.

• This applies to people who work as educators or teachers.
• It also applies to school bus drivers and lifeguards.
• It applies to sports coaches.

The extended criminal record includes convictions for sexual offenses.

It also includes convictions for abuse of persons under one’s care.

It includes convictions for violations of the duty of care.
