The "Salzgitter Pass"

In 2017, the Salzgitter City Council decided to introduce a "Salzgitter Pass" from 2018.

The Salzgitter Pass

The Salzgitter Pass has been available in Salzgitter since 2019.

The pass is for people with little money.

With the pass you pay less here:

- Stadt-Bad Salzgitter-Lebenstedt,

- Protestant family education center,

- Catholic family education center,

- Salzgitter-Fredenberg ice rink,

And you pay less for events organized by:

- SOS Mothers' Center Salzgitter-Bad.

Who gets the Salzgitter Pass?

People in Salzgitter receive the pass:

- who receive basic security

- or receive social assistance

- or are asylum seekers.

Asylum seekers are people

- who are persecuted in their home country,

- who have had to flee their homeland,

- who therefore want to live here.

Do other people in your family also receive assistance from the Office?

Then each family member gets their own passport.

Do you have the Social Pass?

Then you can also get the Sozial-Ticket.

The Sozial-Ticket is for buses and trains in Salzgitter.

You pay less there.
