Stanton Moore [USA]
Stanton Moore is a GRAMMY award-winning artist, teacher and performer. Born and raised in New Orleans, Stanton Moore is a passionate drummer, performer and educator who feels a special connection to the city, its culture and community spirit. In the early 1990s, Moore co-founded the New Orleans funk band Galactic, whose albums and tours have reached large audiences worldwide.
Moore began his solo career in 1998 and has released nine albums under his own name, his most recent being "With You In Mind: The Songs of Allen Toussaint".
In his 25-year career, Moore has played live and on various studio productions with a wide range of artists, including Maceo Parker, Joss Stone, Irma Thomas, Leo Nocentelli and George Porter (of The Meters), Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine), Corrosion of Conformity, Donald Harrison Jr, Nicholas Payton, Trombone Shorty, Skerik, Charlie Hunter, Robert Walter, Will Bernard, Ivan Neville, Anders Osborne and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. He has also appeared several times on Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O'Brien and Seth Meyers' late night shows.
With a bachelor's degree in music and business from Loyola University, Moore continues to be involved in music education, giving workshops, master classes and private lessons worldwide. He has published two books and three video projects. His book "Groove Alchemy" was named one of the 25 best drum instruction books of all time by "Modern Drummer" magazine. To further pursue his passion for teaching and to connect more closely with his students, he recently launched his own online drum academy, StantonMooreDrumAcademy.com.
Pat Steward [CAN]
Pat Steward (born May 4, 1962 in Vancouver, Canada) is one of Canada's most renowned drummers. He became known as a member of the rock band Odds and through his many years of collaboration with Bryan Adams and Matthew Good. His powerful, song-oriented style can be heard on numerous successful productions - including the iconic Bryan Adams hits Summer of '69 and Kids Wanna Rock. He developed a great passion for the drums as a teenager and later studied jazz at Malaspina College on Vancouver Island. With his versatility, his groove and his decades of experience on international stages and in first-class studios, Pat Steward is one of the most influential drummers on the Canadian rock scene and is currently Bryan Adams' permanent drummer again.
Simon Gattringer [AUT]
Simon Gattringer was born in Linz on May 27, 1986. He was given his first drum kit at the age of six by his uncle, who also got him more and more interested in music. After self-taught drumming, he took lessons at the Upper Austrian Music School and the Linz Music School for several years. In 2008, Simon was named Austria's best young percussionist. After studying at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, he completed the pop course at the Hamburg University of Music and Drama. This marked the beginning of a new chapter in his musical career.
Simon soon became one of the most sought-after session drummers in the city. Since then he has worked successfully as a live and studio musician for various artists. He has played with and for Udo Lindenberg, Max Mutzke, Joy Denalane, Max Herre, Sascha, Jan Delay, Adel Tawil and Helene Fischer, among others. Simon is currently touring with German pop star Johannes Oerding and is also the drummer in the well-known German TV band "The Mighty Winterscheidts" (heard on "Wer stiehlt mir die Show"). He also gives workshops and seminars worldwide. He toured China in 2026 with his topic "Pop & Hybrid Drumming". He also teaches at the Popakademie in Mannheim.
Ronnie Burrage [USA]
Ronnie Burrage has been one of the busiest drummers on the scene since the 1970s. Exposed to musical influences as a child through his family's choir and musical tastes, he began playing drums and became a professional while still in his teens. At 17, he moved to New York, where he gained a considerable reputation. He has played with Michael Brecker, Wayne Shorter, Joe Zawinul, Sonny Rollins, Pat Metheny, Dianne Reeves, Archie Shepp, McCoy Tyner, Pepper Adams, the Jaco Pastorius Big Band, the Gil Evans Orchestra, the Krakow Symphony, the London Philharmonic and many more. He can be heard on over 100 recordings and has toured on all four continents - from Siberia to South Africa and Japan.
In addition, Ronnie Burrage has been an influential teacher, both privately and at major institutions such as Pennsylvania State University, The New School NYC, University of the Arts Philadelphia, Berlin Conservatory and currently at CUNY Brooklyn College.
Prof. Burrage is not only known for his virtuosity on all percussion instruments, but also as an innovative composer and programmer.
Niklas Kahl [D]
Niklas Kahl is one of the most prominent German rock and metal drummers of his generation. His musical career began at the age of five in his father's accordion orchestra before he turned to the rock and metal genre as a teenager. Since then, he has played numerous international tours and festivals and worked with bands such as Stahlmann, Oomph!, Erdling and Joachim Witt. Since 2017, he has been a permanent member of the successful dark rock band Lord of the Lost, with whom he represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool in 2023. Dirk Erchinger [D]
Dirk Erchinger - "groove master from Germany" - is the founder and driving force behind Drumtrainer Berlin and has been a professional drummer, producer and lecturer for over 35 years.
From sweaty underground clubs to huge festival stages and arena tours, from jazz to funk, hip-hop and soul to techno - Dirk has seen, played and experienced pretty much everything. He has toured and recorded with artists such as Gloria Gaynor, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Apache 207 and many others.
For 16 years Dirk sat at the drums of the Jazzkantine and won both the Echo and the Jazz Echo Award. He has been the rhythmic backbone of Count Basic for over three decades. With chart hits in Germany and the USA, award-winning productions, world tours and countless studio sessions, Dirk is one of Germany's most experienced groove specialists.
When he's not on stage or in the studio, he runs Drumtrainer Berlin and his recording studio in Berlin - and is constantly building one of the most inspiring drum communities in Europe.
Joannie Labelle [CAN]
Joannie Labelle is an internationally sought-after percussionist whose artistic identity is deeply rooted in rhythm. With an extraordinary stylistic range, she combines Afro-Cuban and African traditions, modern drum aesthetics and electronic soundscapes to create her own unique percussive signature. Her playing combines technical precision with palpable emotionality - powerful, differentiated and always in the service of the music.
She received her sound training from renowned masters such as Giovanni Hidalgo, Alain "Chepito" Labrosse, Luc Boivin, Paul Picard, Harouna Dembélé and Billy Konaté. Decisive artistic impulses shaped her career in Havana, where she studied with Raul Lali Brito Gonzalez (Clave y Guaguancó), Alberto Villareal from the Conjunto Folklórico Nacional de Cuba and Roland Salgado Palacio from the Afro Cuban All Stars. There she deepened her understanding of clave and polyrhythm - elements that still characterize her playing today.

Stephan Genze [D]
Stephan Genze from Berlin has been at home as a professional drummer in almost all musical genres for over 40 years.
During and after his classical and jazz studies at the Berlin University of the Arts, he was already active in various orchestras, bands and theaters. He has played hundreds of shows and countless concerts at home and abroad with, among others: Pe Werner, Reinhard Mey, Rolf Kühn, Vicky Leandros, Klaus Hoffmann, Katja Epstein, Ute Lemper, Bodo Wartke, SDP/JAZZDP etc....As a studio drummer he has participated in various international film and music productions. As a big band drummer he has worked with the RIAS Big Band, Rolf v. Nordenskjöld Orchestra, Capital Dance Orchestra, Maria Baptist Jazz Orchestra, Helmut Brandt Mainstream Orchestra, Thilo Wolf Big Band etc.
He is co-leader and composer of the Fine Arts Big Band and also a regular lecturer and teacher at the international drum school Drumtrainer Berlin. As an author, he was awarded the DIGITA 2016 for three successful pedagogical works published by Helbling Verlag. He has written various workshop articles on big band drumming for the trade magazines Drums und Percussion and Drumheads.
In 1998 he received the Rock and Pop Oscar for the best rock and pop drummer in Germany with the band "Weltpinguintag".
Dennis "Kira Kyoto" Vanhöfen [D]
Dennis "Kira Kyoto" Vanhöfen is a rock and metal drummer born in Reutlingen in 1996. As a state-approved teacher, he has been teaching drums & percussion in the drum department since 2016, with a special focus on the musical development of children and young people. He recently started making videos on Instagram and TikTok about learning drums, hand position, technique and rudiments. He will be offering a pad workshop on rudiments and hand position on Sunday.
Dennis attended his first concert at the age of eight - the beginning of a musical career that took him through numerous bands of various styles. At the age of 18, he joined the female-fronted post-hardcore band Break Down A Venue, from which the formation VENUES emerged in 2017, of which he was a co-founder. He completed his first European tour with VENUES and shared the stage with renowned acts such as Atreyu, The Amity Affliction, Emil Bulls, Blind Channel, Coldrain and many more.
Dennis has performed at renowned festivals such as Wacken Open Air, With Full Force, Summer Breeze Open Air and the Masters of Rock in the Czech Republic. In addition to his work with VENUES, he is active as a studio and live session drummer and plays for a wide variety of artists and genres.
PiTTi Pike [D]
PiTTi Hecht from Hanover is regarded as the most multifaceted percussionist in Germany. He has already played with over 250 different acts and is constantly reinventing himself. No wonder he works with artists as diverse as Beats and Noises, Randy Crawford, Peter Herbolzheimer, Paul Kuhn, Willy Ketzer, Los Tumpolos, The Platters, Scorpions, Bernd Stelter, T.M.Stevens, etc.
His duets with drummers such as Greg Bisonette, Manni von Bohr, Dirk, Brand, Sheila E., Tris Imboden, Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffet, Nicko McBrain, Nippy Noya, Herman Rarebell, Bernhard "Pretty" Purdie, Wolf Simon, Alex Vesper etc. could be admired at various drum festivals and music fairs.
Furthermore, LP endorser PiTTi has traveled to more than 30 countries as a popular lecturer, book author and soloist and was recently named "German Drum Heroe" and "cult percussionist" by the trade magazine "Drumheads!!!". Ben Flohr [D]
As an officially certified trainer for the drum circle method according to Arthur Hull (VMC, since 2017), Ben Flohr has trained and educated several hundred people from a wide range of professions on this topic in recent years.
Born in Lower Saxony, he spent most of his younger professional life as a professional drummer and drum teacher before beginning his training as a drum circle facilitator with drum circle forefather Arthur Hull in 2009. Since then, he has been traveling nationally and internationally as a facilitator of "Rhythm-Based-Events".
In this capacity, he has conducted countless DCs for companies, schools, kindergartens, care facilities, the public, friends and just for fun. The number of participants has always fluctuated slightly, from eight people to more than seven hundred.
Since 2016, Ben has been the contact person for drum circles, recreational music making and education at GEWA Music, the European distributor of the Remo, DW, Gretsch Drums, Paiste, Gibraltar and Latin Percussion brands.
