Salzgitter

Free places on the VHS course "Fermenting vegetables"

The Volkshochschule of the city of Salzgitter has free places in the additional course "Fermenting vegetables", which takes place on November 27.

Who still knows sauerkraut and sour beans? Other vegetables can also be fermented to enrich your diet. Vegetables can be preserved through lactic acid fermentation. This produces healthy nutrients such as vitamin C and acids that are good for the gut. Fermenting fresh vegetables is easy, inexpensive and requires little work. In this course, participants will learn a method of fermenting vegetables without any special equipment. The group will also prepare a dinner with lactic acid vegetables.

Information: The additional course "Fermenting vegetables" will take place on Monday, November 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Kniestedter Herrenhaus in Salzgitter-Bad (Braunschweiger Straße 137a). The course costs 21.60 euros (food costs are included). Please bring along: A tea towel, leftover containers and a drink.
