In the past, people ate what was harvested from the garden or offered at the market, i.e. local, seasonal and organic. Participants will prepare classics as well as lesser-known recipes from the pre- and post-war period and from the GDR and discover that they meet today's criteria and are delicious.
Information: The "Cooking through history" course will take place on Thursday, November 23, from 5:45 to 9:30 p.m. at the Kniestedter Herrenhaus in Salzgitter-Bad (Braunschweiger Straße 137a). The course costs 36 euros (food costs are included). Participants should bring a sharp knife, a tea towel and storage containers.
